Charting software basics
Ok you have picked up a basic knowledge of technical
ananlysis. STOP do not go shelling out $10,000 on some wiz bang system the guy in the shiny suit at the "free" seminar is
trying to sell you.
- You can look at charts for free on the web
- Do it on Microsoft Excel
- Buy a charting package but which one?
In order to get set up you will need three components.
The charting software itself. A databank of the price history of all the stocks or instruments you are trading and a daily
download to update the databank each
day. The data must be in the correct format for the software.
